Zeal and Enthusiasm That Defined The 3rd Day Induction Programme At BIT, Sindri

Sindri :Bit Sindri The 3rd day of the 21 Days Long Induction Programme was conducted in an impeccable manner. Today's Guest Speaker happened to be an alumnus of BIT ECE Branch of '94 Batch, Ms. Sweta Kumari. She is presently helming as DIG, Land Revenue & Registration, Govt of Jharkhand. At the onset Prof RK Verma started the day with introducory speech welcoming the guests followed by Prof Swati Tomar introducing the Guest Speaker and the milestones that she has touched during her professional career. During the course of her speech, Ms. Sweta Kumari touched almost every facets of a student's life at BIT, Sindri. She delved a very strong message to the students with her motivational speech using SWOT analysis method to improve and excel themselves on their academic and personal life. She also emphasized the importance of Clubs in a student's life where one can explore and hone up their creativity, art, skill and special talents like singing, poetry et al. She kept the lecture session somewhat interactive one to stay connected and make the session interesting.

     Followed by her, the stage was taken by another alumnus of BIT, Sindri Mining branch, Mr. Chitaranjan Singh who happens to be the husband of Ms. Sweta Kumari and is presently working as GM, BCCL. He graced the occasion with some tips to the budding technocrats before stealing the show with his stellar and majestic voice by singing two songs of Late Mukesh, one of the most outstanding singer that India has ever produced.

     The 3rd day Induction Programme was in attendance of Dr. Pankaj Rai, Director, BIT, Sindri, Dr. RK Verma, Prof Ravi Shankar Prasad, Prof Swati Tomar, Prof Sumanto Mandal.

    Finally the day culminated with Vote of Thanks and presenting mementos to the distinguished guests. Prof Sumanto Mandal had given the final Vote of Thanks with some anecdotes and motivational tips to the freshers and wished them a pleasant & purposeful stay at BIT, Sindri for their next four formative years. He assured the freshers that they are in the safe hands of highly talented and experienced faculty members at BIT, Sindri. Thus the day finally ended with memento presentation to the guests by the Director, BIT, Sindri and a short photo session with the guests and the faculty members.
